How to play TellyBingo
It’s simple!
* There are no playslips to be filled out for TellyBingo
* All tickets are generated randomly by the Lotto machine using the Quick Pick method
* Simply ask at your local Lotto outlet for a TellyBingo ticket and in return you will receive a ticket which contains a grid of 24 randomly selected numbers and a free number represented by ** in the middle square
* This free number is considered already marked
* Each ticket will cost €2.50 and will show the draw date for which it is valid. There is no Multi Draw facility on Telly Bingo
* TellyBingo draw days are every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. If you are leaving it until the day of the draw to purchase your ticket, you must do so before 11am.
* You can play along with the TellyBingo TV Gameshow every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 12.45pm on RTE 1.

How do I win?
There are five prize categories in TellyBingo - Lucky Line, Corner, Cross, Snowball and Fullhouse. A player can win a prize in more than one prize category on a single ticket. For each TellyBingo TV Gameshow there will be a random drawing of numbers from the range 1 to 75. The amount of numbers drawn and the corresponding prize categories are as follows:
Corners
To start the game 32 numbers will be randomly drawn. Players who match the four corner numbers on their ticket, on or before the 32nd number is drawn will win a parimutuel prize of, on average €10, taking one TellyBingo game with another. This prize will never be less than €5.
Cross
A further 4 numbers will then be drawn, bringing the total to 36. Players who match all eight numbers to make a cross or X on their ticket, on or before the 36th number is drawn will win a parimutuel prize of on average, €100, taking one TellyBingo game with another.
Full House
Additional numbers will then be drawn until one or more players have marked all of the numbers on their ticket(s). This is called a Fullhouse and the winner or winners will win or share a fixed prize of €10,000. Once there is a Fullhouse winner the game is considered over and no more numbers will be drawn.
Snowball
The Snowball prize is a Bonus for players who achieve a Fullhouse on or before the 45th number (i.e. the Snowball number) is drawn. An additional fixed prize of €10,000 will be won or shared by the winner or winners. If there is no Snowball winner the Snowball number will be increased by one number to 46 on the next TellyBingo show and €5,000 will be added to the Snowball prize. This process will continue until there is a Snowball winner. Once the Snowball prize is won, the Snowball number reverts to 45 and the Snowball prize is reset at €10,000.
Lucky Line
During the TellyBingo TV Gameshow one of the five horizontal lines on the TellyBingo ticket will be randomly selected. Players who have matched all of the numbers on the selected line will win a fixed prize of €5. On each TellyBingo ticket, Line 1 refers to the top horizontal line and Line 5 refers to the bottom horizontal line.
“Phone Risk” Card Number Game
On every TellyBingo ticket there will be a unique six digit card number printed directly below the 24 number grid. On each TellyBingo show one of the card numbers will be randomly chosen and announced by the presenter. The owner of the ticket with the corresponding card number has until 9pm on the following evening to phone in to validate his/her winning ticket.
The lucky player will then be invited to participate in a “Phone Risk” game on the TellyBingo show (the owner of the Phonerisk number drawn on a Tuesday will participate the following Tuesday, drawn on Thursday the player plays on the following Thursday’s show and drawn on Friday that player participates the following Friday) where he/she will win a cash prize ranging from €1,000 to €10,000. And all from the comfort of your own home!
